Unison Music’s singer/songwriter Marianne Keith heads home to Southern California at the end of the week after wrapping up her U.S. tour with popular indie artist Josh Hoge. While on the road, Keith performed on Indy Style in Indianapolis, The Vault on FOX 2 Detroit, FOX 8 in Cleveland and Daytime Alabama. The songstress also had the opportunity to shine at the Best Buy New York City, as a part of their “Live At Best Buy” showcases.

Upon returning home, Keith will resume her residency at Los Angeles hotspot The Piano Bar every Thursday night from 10-11 p.m. starting July 1.  The singer has built a strong local fan base at the venue, including actor Keifer Sutherland, by singing tracks from her confessional album Cathartic, as well as favorites from her first Unison Music release, Beautiful Distraction. Keith’s latest single and most downloaded track on iTunes, “Everyone Warned Me,” recently hit Hot AC radio on June 1, as the music video for the track debuted on Singing Fool the same week.

Keith was also asked to perform at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel on Friday, August 6 at 6:30 p.m. as part of their “Poolside Performances.” Earlier this year, Keith was a winner for the hotel’s indie showcase, earning her prestigious gigs at the hotel’s bar.

Already planning another tour, the non-stop songwriting siren will soon be on the road once again, sharing her elegant presence and graceful voice in eclectic venues across America.

Unison Music’s singer/songwriter Marianne Keith is gearing up to release her second single and most downloaded track on iTunes, “Everyone Warned Me.” The intimate confessional song is part of her 15 chronologically written tracks from her current album Cathartic. The album tells a story of one’s anguish over a love gone wrong. The single hits Hot AC radio come June 1, with a music video to follow later that month.

The new single release coincides as Keith embarks on a U.S. national tour with well-known Nashville indie rocker, Josh Hoge, just a few days later on June 3 in Lexington, KY performing at Natasha’s. The two artists then hit Indianapolis on June 4 and continue on to Evanston, IL (June 5); Grand Rapids, MI (June 6); Cleveland, OH (June 8); Columbus, OH (June 9); Pittsburgh, PA (June 10); Boston, MA (June 11);  Philadelphia, PA (June 12) New York, NY (June 13); Fairfield, CT (June 15); Vienna, VA (June 16); Charlotte, NC (June 17); Decatur, GA (June 18); Birmingham, AL (June 20); Chapel, NC(June 22); Columbia, SC (June 24); and wrapping up in Nashville, TN on June 25.

While on tour, Marianne Keith will give two special TV appearances; first on the popular morning show “Indy Style” for WISH-TV’s channel 8 in Indianapolis on Friday, June 4. The second performance will be on Detroit’s FOX 2 “The Vault,” on Monday, June 7. Marianne will perform acoustically her first single “Meant To Be An Angel,” along with the newest single “Everyone Warned Me,” on both TV appearances, therefore, showcasing her songs about how vulnerable and fragile one can be in the game of love.

Singer-Songwriter Marianne Keith will be a featured artist on the Cox 3’s new local Southern California bi-weekly TV music show “SongCheck Live” powered by Martin&Co. SongCheck Live will air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. on Cox 3, and will be offered on On Demand’s channel 1 until July 3, 2010 in the Orange County and Palos Verdes, CA markets. The idea came from a DVD that was originally created by SongCheck Live’s creator, producer and director Matt Russell, that features Marianne and fellow singer–songwriter Alec Bridges.

Marianne’s latest album Cathartic was recently released on the Unison Music label and produced by Grammy nominated duo, Ryan Dorn and Bruce Witkin. The album concept was created after Marianne wrote 15 tracks in chronological order, revealing a painful tale of heartache. Three major keyboard artists; Benmont Tench(Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), Steve Nieve(Elvis Costello & The Attractions), and Romi Jaffie(The Wallflowers and FooFighters) were guest musicians on the Cathartic album. Tench performed on the Hammond organ for three songs “Everyone Leaves,” “Flood” and “Promise To Resonate.” Nieve recorded on keys for the track, “Cage” and Jaffie on keys for the title track “Cathartic.” American blues-rock guitarist and former child prodigy, Joe Bonamassa(Eric Clapton and Gregg Allman) also laid down guitar riffs on Marianne’s “Your Touch.”

The music video for “Meant To Be An Angel,” the first single off Cathartic, was recently featured on AOL and Justin TV, and has been hitting the radio airways in cities such as Kiss 99.1 FM in Huntsville, AL, 100.3 The Peak FM in Albuquerque, NM and 95.1 WAYV in Atlantic City, NJ.

In June Marianne will tour with Blackledge Music’s Nashville artist Josh Hoge. The two will perform in major cities across the U.S. starting on June 3 in Lexington, IL and Indianapolis on June 4. The tour will stop in Chicago, Ann Arbor, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, NYC, Boston, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta and Birmingham, AL, before wrapping up on June 21 in Nashville, TN. While in Ann Arbor for the tour, Marianne will appear live on FOX 2 Detroit on Sunday, June 6 for an acoustic TV performance and interview.

The music event will start with a reception at 7:30 p.m., including delicious appetizers and cocktails, followed by Marianne performing tracks from her newest album Cathartic at 8 p.m.

Already proving to be a promising year for the songstress, Marianne Keith will grace us with her single “Meant To Be An Angel” to Hot AC radio February 8. The song, “Meant To Be An Angel,” is the first single from the singer’s sophomore collection, Cathartic, consisting of 15 soul-bearing tracks of a chronological tale uncovering the cathartic process of a love lost and self-found. The album is released on Unison Music and was produced by the indie label’s Grammy-nominated duo, Bruce Witkin and Ryan Dorn.

Earlier this month, Marianne performed at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel’s Indie Thursdays weekly showcase. The hotel’s show organizers were most impressed by Marianne’s set and offered the charming artist her own headlining two hour gig, slated for February. Marianne also performed at the world’s largest music trade conference, NAMM, this past weekend in Anaheim, CA.  For the third consecutive year, Martin Guitars asked Marianne to give an acoustic performance at their Song Check Live stage.

For the remainder of January and all of February, Marianne has landed a mini-residency at Hollywood’s intimate hot spot, Piano Bar, every Thursday at 10 p.m. Marianne will perform tracks from her new album Cathartic, along with music from her debut album, Beautiful Distraction.

So Cal’s talented singer/songwriter, Marianne Keith, will perform during NAMM, the world’s largest music trade show on Saturday, January 16 at 4 p.m. at the Martin Guitars’ booth. The latest music technologies and products are demonstrated each year at NAMM, held at the Anaheim Conference Center in Anaheim, CA. Since NAMM started in 1991, it has grown to almost 90,000 yearly attendees and an exhibitor’s list with more than 1,600 this year.

Marianne is also performing at an indie showcase, for the first time at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel’s intimate lobby lounge, on Thursday, January 7 at 8 p.m. This family-friendly lounge will be hosting monthly showcases, which is free and open to the public.

Just last week, Marianne brought inspiration and laughs to a full-house at L.A’s hot spot, Hotel Café, where she gracefully grabbed the audience with new tunes from her forthcoming album, Cathartic, including her first single “Meant To Be An Angel.” The single is slated for a Valentine’s Day release with her new album due spring 2010. Alluring singer-songwriter Marianne Keith is set to perform fan favorite tracks from her debut album Beautiful Distraction, along with new tunes from her upcoming album Cathartic at Hotel Café in Hollywood on Wednesday, December 9. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.

For her second full-length album, Keith teamed up with Grammy nominated producers Bruce Witkin and Ryan Dorn on the Unison Music label. Cathartic’s first yet- to-be-named single is expected to drop on Valentine’s Day. Oddly enough, Cathartic is riddled with intimate stories of love gone wrong, including tracks such as “Isn’t It A lie,” “Everyone Warned Me,” and “Hate.” The eclectic 15-song collection, due out spring 2010, is placed in chronological order, according to the date the songs were written.

The songstress embraces this holiday season with a 2009 nomination at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA), held on November 19 at The Highlands within the Kodak Theatre Complex in Hollywood. Marianne graced the red carpet as she was nominated for her single “Kiss Me In The Rain” from her 2007 debut Unison Music release, Beautiful Distraction.
