Rockin’ Los Angeles-based country group Coldwater Canyon Band ^[3] continues their explosion on the music scene with a win for Best Country Song for their hit single “Nobody Knows” at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards on November 18. “Nobody Knows” is the lead-off single from the band’s debut album Just Getting Started, which climbed into the Top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart and spent over 24 weeks on the chart.

“The win was a great honor because we stayed true to what we believed in and stuck with it. ‘Cali Country’ is ‘just getting started’ and we want to let you know dreams do come true, ya’ll!” says frontman Howie Vaughn.

Coldwater Canyon Band members, including Vaughn, Brandon Fisher, Eric Nicalau, Joe Tharpe and Jason Garrett, took to the Red Carpet for the event held at The Highlands located in the Kodak Theater Complex/Hollywood & Highland Center, mingling with the media and fellow nominees Karling and Sharif Iman.

Coldwater Canyon Band’s new single “Peace Of Mind” is a touching tribute to the men and women who courageously serve and protect our country in the military. Vaughn penned the track after his experience in the military and proudly sports his own military jacket in the video for the song, which has spawned over 560,000 views on MySpace ^[4].

Promo Only ^[5] recently added the “Peace Of Mind” video to their playlist for December, surrounded by country heavyweights Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Toby Keith to name a few.
