Kountreeboyz Entertainment has had a successful and exciting year with their initial signing, rockin’ country group Coldwater Canyon Band spending 29 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart with their single “Nobody Knows.” But the label was just getting started and is proud to announce new additions to their team for 2011.

CEO Thomas Goodin will continue to oversee day-to-day label operations and A&R activities.

Bernard Manier will oversee Label Development, Marketing and Sponsorships. Manier has over 20 years experience in entertainment and has worked with N.W.A., Easy-E, Luke & The Two Live Crew, Columbia Records, T.V.T. Records, Ja-Rule, Bounty Killer, and Lil John. He has also had a hand in placing over 100 tracks in film, television and video games.

Heading up Video Promotions is Steve Baker, owner of Visual Image Marketing, a music video promotion and marketing company encompassing digital video promotion, local and regional video promotion, and national video promotion. Clients include Dolly Parton, Sara Evans, The Grascals, Michael Sarver (“American Idol” Top 10 Finalist), Eddy Raven, Don Williams, Gene Watson, and more. Baker has 21 years experience in the entertainment industry working in Video Promotion & Marketing, Press, Radio Promotion and Artist Management.

Lori Johns will serve as National Sales Director. Johns has worked in the music business for 20 years, including time with Priority Virgin, Hollywood Records, Universal Music Distribution, Independent Music Entertainment, Titan Worldwide Outdoor, and Musicians Institute.

Don Huggins of Deh Tyme Entertainment will focus on Marketing/Retail and Distribution, and specializes in regional and national marketing campaigns.

Overseeing Licensing and Merchandising is Russell Tate, who has over 30 years experience in the clothing business and extensive experience in licensing.

Sean “Barney” Thomas will handle music production for Kountreeboyz Entertainment artists. Thomas produced Coldwater Canyon Band’s debut album Just Getting Started and has previously worked with Dr. Dre, Doggystyle, No Authority, Lil Romeo, Robyn, Deion Sanders and more.

Kountreeboyz Entertainment has also teamed with BBM Bookings & Management to provide booking for artists. BBM Bookings & Management has worked with 50 Cent, Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake and more.

On December 5, Coldwater Canyon Band supported participants of the 10^th Annual Say No To Drugs Race Holiday Classic held on the Universal Studios Backlot. The event benefited organizations which are successfully fighting drugs. Coldwater Canyon Band presented medals to race participants and were a crowd hit with frontman Howie Vaughn making up a “Say No To Drugs” song on the spot.
