The Los Angeles Based Country Group Will
Perform Their Military Tribute ‘Peace Of Mind’

This Veteran’s Day, rockin’ Los Angeles based country group Coldwater Canyon Band will pay tribute to the men and women who courageously serve and protect our country with a performance on the Veterans Day Virtual Telethon on November 6 at 2 p.m. Eastern time, helping to raise money for various veterans groups around the country. Coldwater Canyon Band will perform their touching military tribute “Peace Of Mind” and their hit single “Nobody Knows” from their debut album Just Getting Started during their 30-minute set. Kountreeboyz Entertainment CEO Thomas Goodin will also appear and the telethon will also feature a special message from First Lady Michelle Obama.

Coldwater Canyon Band recently released the video for “Peace Of Mind,” which has already spawned over 560,000 views on the band’s MySpace and features frontman Howie Vaughn proudly sporting his own military jacket he wore while spending three years in the military, spending time in Operation Desert Storm as well as being stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey, Fort Benning in Georgia and Fort Sam Houston in Texas. Vaughn penned “Peace Of Mind” after his time in the military and passionately believes what the servicemen, their families and even the war protesters need most is “Peace of Mind.” The track can be purchased online at Amazon.com and iTunes. 50% of proceeds from the track will be donated to VeteranAid.org.

Coldwater Canyon Band will appear on “Indie Style,” a TV show about up and coming stars and entrepreneurs in Atlanta, with an acoustic performance of “Peace of Mind” and “Nobody Knows” on October 30 and November 6 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. A video of that appearance will be available at www.indiestyletv.com.

The band continues exploding on the country scene with their single “Nobody Knows” having spent 24 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart, climbing all the way to #27 without major label backing.

Vaughn’s unique hybrid has been a sensation at country radio since the release of Coldwater Canyon Band’s 2008 debut Rollin’. Their first single “Country Girls” rose to #15 on the Billboard Hot Singles Chart (indicating great crossover success). “Nobody Knows” reached the Top Ten on the Hot Singles chart and #2 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart. The track is also getting major airplay via online outlets like the country channel on Music Choice.

Just Getting Started is available for purchase on Amazon.com and iTunes.
