Held at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, the fashionistas showcased the brand’s Spring 2011 collection along with Beach Bash- a new line of retro swimwear, hats, beach totes and playsuits, and Elvgren, a line inspired by great American pin-up artist Gil Elvgren.
The birthday event continued that evening with an intoxicating performance by The Diamond Bettys, known for their high energy ‘Pin-Up Doll’ revue. The dance troupe flaunted their best moves for the vast crowds of shoppers, just steps away from BPC’s storefront.

The line was designed by company founder and lead designer Tatyana and her son, Art Khomaykov, to recreate the retro beach looks and Bettie Page summer vibe for a new generation of women. Several of the vintage outfits were recently showcased on a runway at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas by several models, including BPC’s new spokesmodel Claire Sinclair.
A striking modern day resemblance to Bettie Page, the beautiful 19-year-old brunette was the October 2010 Playmate of the Month in Playboy Magazine and is currently in the running for Playmate of the Year. Sinclair recently played the lead at MGM Grand’s “Crazy Horse Review” (following in the footsteps of Dita von Teese and Carmen Electra). She is featured on “The Bunny House” and “Holly’s World” on E! Networks and is the newest and hottest celebrity on everyone’s “A” list!
Describing the Beach Bash line as having “a lot of leopard prints, a massive amount of bright colors, very happy and, of course, ‘beachy,’” Khomyakov adds, “Now that we’ve become industry leaders in retro inspired clothing, we knew we couldn’t stop with the dresses. There was an increasing demand for retro swimwear, and the line we created beginning with the swimsuits is a natural extension of our vintage fashions. We accumulated a lot of patterns and collected a lot of swimwear from friends and through vintage shops, which inspired us to develop these new items.
