Miller is the daughter of the late legendary songwriter, Ron Miller and also stars in the show as “Frank’s One Love,” a character based on Sinatra’s great love, Ava Gardner. Hackett is the son of legendary comedian Buddy Hackett, who portrays “God” in the show via voiceovers he recorded prior to his death in 2003.
Hackett Miller recently premiered its new production, “My Buddy” at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. The son of legendary comedian Buddy Hackett carries on the Hackett legacy as he reopens The Riviera Comedy Club, but this time, it will be ‘Presented by Sandy Hackett’. The club, opening Thursday, February 10, will be run by Hackett, producer and star (as Joey Bishop) of “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show,” which also appears at The Riviera Hotel and Casino in Le Bistro Theatre. Hackett has launched and run numerous comedy clubs over the years around the country, including Laughlin, Flagstaff and Los Angeles.
In addition to bringing renowned comics from all over the country—many of whom have appeared on HBO, Showtime, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” or “Late Show With David Letterman”—there will be regular appearances weekly by Hackett as well as his “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” co-star Doug Starks, who plays Sammy Davis, Jr., Starks has opened for such musical performers as Julio Iglesias and Smokey Robinson. Other regular performers will include standup comic Tom Wallek and puppeteer/comedian Jerry Halliday.

In a dynamic move that must be making the legendary Buddy Hackett beam up in comedy heaven, The Sahara in Las Vegas—by popular demand—is relocating his son’s hit “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” from the Congo Room to the hotel’s main showroom.
It’s the perfect prelude to the launch of the show’s national touring company. The production has been recognized and distinguished as far more than a tribute show. It’s a theatrical production with a strong narrative element that includes extraordinary, never-before-heard original songs written by Producer Lisa Dawn Miller’s father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller.
The shift takes place March 2 at the show’s new daily time of 5 p.m., the perfect hour for both longtime fans and newcomers to the classic Rat Pack experience to enjoy highballs, hi-jinks and happy hour with Frank, Sammy, Joey and Dean! The new move allows for a greatly increased seating capacity to meet the escalating demand for this well-received, contemporary take on the beloved Rat Pack.

Hackett is the only producer of a Rat Pack-related live performance theatrical production who actually grew up with these legends in their heyday. “My father had great friendships with them all.
