‘SANDY HACKETT’S RAT PACK SHOW’
SET TO LAUNCH THE ONLY

50th ANNIVERSARY RAT PACK TOUR AS IT HITS THE
ROAD UNDER AN EXCLUSIVE NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH
NEW YORK CITY’S OFF BROADWAY BOOKING  (OBB NYC)

Marking A Half Century Since The Original Rat Pack’s
Legendary Las Vegas Performances At The Sands, Hackett’s
Classic Show Also Runs Nightly In The Sahara Hotel’s Main
Showroom at 5 P.M.

Celebrating 50 years of The Rat Pack, audiences in Las Vegas have been coming to the Sahara Hotel & Casino for happy hour, highballs and Hackett— Sandy Hackett, that is, one of the stars and producers of “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show,” which runs nightly at 5 p.m.

Now, continuing the half century celebration of the original Rat Pack’s legendary month of performances at The Sands Hotel in early 1960, the show is going on a national tour the only “50th Anniversary Rat Pack Tour in the country– thanks to an exclusive partnership that the show’s producers, Hackett and Lisa Dawn Miller, have struck with Off Broadway Booking (OBB NYC) in New York City.

Vegas just wouldn’t be Vegas without the Rat Pack, so even as the “50th Anniversary Rat Pack Tour” is set to hit the road immediately, performances at the Sahara will continue nightly.

Off Broadway Booking was established in 2005 as a booking agency dedicated to the promotion and awareness of OBB as a brand of excellence in theatre to audiences outside of New York City. Since that time, OBB has grown into a full service booking agency placing Broadway Musicals, Special Events and award winning Solo Shows in theatres across the country and the world.

OBB President and CEO Orin Wolf says, “We are very enthusiastic about bringing ‘Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show’ to audiences across the U.S. We’re excited about finally having an opportunity to deliver a first rate Rat Pack production to historic theatres and more intimate venues where people can connect with musical and cultural history.”

Miller adds, “We are thrilled to be partners with Orin Wolf and the entire team at OBB NYC. This is a wonderful opportunity to share this incredible and unique theatrical experience with the world in which we honor and celebrate 50 years of the Rat Pack. For the 50th Anniversary Rat Pack Tour, we’ve included brand new arrangements of  the classic songs everyone knows and loves and we’ve also added a surprising narrative element. This makes our show unlike any other because we’re premiering original, never-before-heard songs written by my late father, legendary songwriter, Ron Miller. We are also proud to include as part of our cast every night, Sandy’s father, legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett, who recorded voiceovers for the show before he passed away and who continues, along with my father, to inspire us. The legacy of the Rat Pack endures and we are excited by the momentum building for our show across the country and our synergistic partnership with OBB NYC.”

Hackett adds, “I look forward to bringing this show, its history and its sentiment to theaters across the country.” Hackett is the only producer of a Rat Pack-related live performance theatrical production who actually grew up with these legends in their heyday. “My father had great friendships with them all. They were my family.” Hackett said. Hackett stars as Joey Bishop—who he knew fondly as “Uncle Joey”.

Miller also has her own personal connection. Each member of the Rat Pack, individually, recorded and performed standards written by her father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller

In addition to being produced by Sandy Hackett, a powerhouse veteran writer, producer, and film and TV actor, and his wife, singer/songwriter/producer Lisa Dawn Miller, the show is unsurpassed with the extraordinary talents of Buddy Hackett and Ron Miller woven throughout the production. The unparalleled chemistry, relationship and connection of the show’s remarkable cast, David DeCosta, Doug Starks, Tony Basile, Lisa Dawn Miller and Sandy Hackett, is headed up by Director, Billy Karl, Technical Director, Mark Matson, and Art Director, Jeanne Quinn. The show’s musical team is incomparable under the music direction of, Maestro Christopher Hardin, and Conductor, Joey Singer.

The new 50th Anniversary Rat Pack Tour brings the legacy of the Rat Pack and both, Hackett’s and Miller’s beloved fathers full circle.
