LAST CALL TO SEE GREG LONDON’S “ICONMAN,”

WHICH CLOSES ITS RECORD SETTING RUN AT

SAMMY’S SHOWROOM AT HARRAH’S RENO ON

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28

***

Continuing His Longtime Involvement in Charitable

Activities, The Master Musical Impressionist Will Also

Perform at a Salvation Army Fundraising Dinner

At Harrah’s Convention Center on Friday, November 13

Considering the vast number of “celebrities” that appear onstage as part of Greg London’s “ICONMAN,” Reno may feel like the loneliest place on earth when the show wraps Saturday, November 28 after a record breaking, two and a half year run in Sammy’s Showroom at Harrah’s Reno.

The master musical impressionist’s critically acclaimed hit is now the longest-running show in the famed venue—and even more impressively, in the history of Reno!

Leading up to this last call, London continues to reach out to local charities that are near and dear to his heart. On Friday, November 13, he will be performing four songs at the Salvation Army fundraising dinner in the convention center room at Harrahs: his back to back Top 5 FMQB AC40 Airplay Chart hits “Everything I Own” and “Cool Change” (with guitarist Barbara Leoni), “Peace Train” and “Guitar Man.”

Harrah’s is sponsoring two show tickets as an auction item, including an autographed photo of London, who as a child played trumpet with his grandfather in the Salvation Army’s local brass band. The event runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

“Everything I Own” recently earned London the Hollywood Music In Media (HMMA) nomination in the Adult Contemporary category for having the highest charting new artist release and highest charting release on an independent label (airplay charts). “Cool Change” is currently receiving airplay in Australia, the native land of the Little River Band, who originally wrote and recorded the song in 1979.

The HMMA honors the music of visual mediums, the talented individuals responsible for selecting it, and the music of artists, both mainstream and independent, from around the globe. London will be attending the red carpet event on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Highlands Nightclub located in the Hollywood & Highland/Kodak Theater complex.

The City of Reno, Nevada recently declared “Greg London Day” in honor of the entertainer and his long running show. London was also voted the “Best Entertainer In Nevada” in Nevada Magazine’s 2009 Best of Nevada Readers Survey.
