Gearing up for the spring release of her debut album Infinity, R&B/ Soul songstress Senani takes center stage at Sydney, Australia’s renowned music venue, The Basement, on Wednesday, February 8.
Senani, who is becoming a prominent fixture on the city’s underground R&B scene, will add her sultry sound to the show called “Acoustic Ladyland.” Known as the landmark of Australian live music, The Basement has played host to iconic artists including Prince, Herbie Hancock and Dizzy Gillespie.
Slated for release in the coming weeks is a dub step remix version of her new single “Voodoo Girl” produced by DJ Jonah. The original version of the single is currently available on iTunes and on her website, www.senani.com. Telling the story of spellbound love and loss, “Voodoo Girl” showcases a creative blend of R&B/Pop and world instruments.
