Campanile’s Grilled Cheese Night Moves To 3Twenty Wine Lounge

CAMPANILE’S FAMOUS GRILLED CHEESE NIGHT

MOVES UP LA BREA TO 3TWENTY WINE LOUNGE

LOS ANGELES – Campanile’s renowned Chef Mark Peel and L.A.’s premier wine destination 3Twenty Wine Lounge (located at 320 S La Brea Ave.) are teaming up to revive Chef Peel’s famous Grilled Cheese Night. Offered Thursday evenings March 14-April 4 from 5:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m., ‘Court of Masters’ Certified Sommelier and 3Twenty Wine Lounge owner Edgar Poureshagh will also offer his signature personalized pairings with each savory sandwich.

Joining Chef Peel to help create his ‘greatest hits’ will be Campanile’s Chef De Cuisine, Christopher Eddy. The delectable offerings will include:

Classic Grilled Cheese

with marinated onions and whole grain mustard

Croque Madame

with Gruyère cheese, thinly sliced ham, topped with a fried egg; 

Burratta Grilled Cheese

with mint pesto, fava beans and bottarga 

Reuben Sandwich

with house-made pastrami and sauerkraut 

Campanile’s Famous Fries

Chef Peel says, “What I miss most since Campanile closed is the people. I hope to see some of our regulars and some new faces while Chris Eddy and I make the food we love.” He continues, “Edgar really knows his wine and has created a comfortable space where we will be able to collaborate with food and wine.”

One of L.A.’s pioneers of California cuisine, Chef Peel was the Executive Chef and owner of the award-winning Campanile restaurant – a landmark on La Brea for over 23 years until its closure in 2012. Furthermore, he is known for his use of fresh, seasonal ingredients and farm-to-table cooking style.

Edgar says, “We are extremely thrilled and honored to host Chef Peel at 3Twenty. His passion and knowledge of food is incredible, not to mention his history on the La Brea corridor.”
