HOLLAND, MICH. – As Kanisha K‘s (www.kanishakmusic.com) latest single “Bring Me Home” makes its debut on the Mediabase A/C chart at #29 with a bullet (just behind superstar artists David Guetta, Sarah McLachlan and OneRepublic), she has just received more exciting mid-summer news. The emerging pop songstress has scored a coveted endorsement deal with Sennheiser Microphones. For more than 65 years, the name Sennheiser has stood for top-quality products, true sound and tailor-made solutions for every aspect of recording, transmission and reproduction of sound. Starting in August, “Bring Me Home” will also be playing in Forever 21 women’s clothing stores nationwide. The track, the follow-up to Kanisha K’s breakthrough hit “My Another Day,” also makes the move up to #13 on the FMQB AC40 chart among more of today’s pop icons (Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, etc.). The track also rises to #29 with a bullet on the Billboard A/C Indicator chart, just below hits by McLachlan, O.A.R. and Coldplay. Kanisha K is also looking forward to some exciting live performances. She will be singing at the Gary Southshore Railcats Vs. Kansas City T-bones baseball game on August 1, where she will also throw out the first pitch. She will also perform at The Lakeshore Public Radio Free Entertainment Tent at the Lake County Fair in Crown Point, Indiana on Thursday, August 7. As part of R&B/Pop Night, Kanisha K will be headlining on a bill with the Michael Turner Band; Turner is the touring saxophonist with The Ohio Players. Kanisha K recently snagged a second Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) in the category of Best Pop Song for her tune “Stupid Boyfriend.” Previously, she had earned a nomination in the same category for “My Another Day.” “Bring Me Home” was produced by Larry King (Soleil Moon- lead vocalist in the Michael Thompson Band & Larry King Orchestra). The track features some of Chicago’s top musicians, including John Blasucci on keyboards, Khari Parker on drums, Lamar Jones on bass and guitarist Chris Siebold.
