Heart’s Ann Wilson, who with sister Nancy Wilson re-ignited “Heart Mania” this summer with the release of Alive In Seattle, their critically acclaimed DVD (Image Entertainment) and Super Audio CD (Epic Legacy) will perform “Almost Paradise” with Kenny Loggins at a taping of LIFETIME Television’s fourth annual concert to champion the fight against breast cancer Women Rock! Songs From The Movies on Tuesday, September 30th at Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. The concert special will air Thursday, October 23rd on the LIFETIME Television Network. Wilson joins performers such as Celine Dion, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt and Mya.
“I’m always willing to do what I can to raise awareness for this important battle that we women face everyday,” says Wilson.
Heart will enter the studio soon to record a new album with the same superstar band from the “Alive In America” tour comprised of Gilby Clarke on guitar (Guns N’Roses), Ben Smith on drums (Lovemongers), keyboardist Darian Sahanaja (Wondermints, Brian Wilson) and Mike Inez (Alice In Chains, Ozzy Osbourne) on bass.

HEART, Ann and Nancy Wilson’s rock supergroup took the Summer of ’03 by storm by releasing Alive in Seattle, their critically acclaimed DVD (Image Entertainment), Super Audio CD (Epic Legacy) and hitting the road to sell-out venues across the country with the “Alive in America” concert tour. Before entering the studio to work on their anticipated new studio album, Ann and Nancy are appearing in a pair of high-profile national television appearances:
They will perform “Dreamboat Annie,” one of their best-loved early mega-hits on “The Wayne Brady Show,” that will air September 18th. The Wilson sisters will also log some couch time with Wayne who is known to be a big fan of HEART. Ann and Nancy will then close the show with “These Dreams.” The Emmy Award-winning “Wayne Brady Show” television program is syndicated nationally. Check local listings for exact time and stations.
Next up, HEART is bringing their songs home again and to VH1 as they perform a unique concert, that will air October 14th, 8 pm ET/P. “Experience Presented by Sony Ericsson” is 60 minutes of pure rock and roll. The program is a five-part behind-the-scenes look at music’s top artists as they perform in Seattle at the Sky Church, located inside the renowned Experience Music Project. Along with great music, “Experience Presented by Sony Ericsson” gives viewers the opportunity to hear the stories behind some of their favorite bands and the hits that made them famous. Mike McCready of Pearl Jam joins HEART on stage for two songs.

PERFORMS ‘ALIVE IN SEATTLE’ AGAIN ON SEPTEMBER 5TH
FOR EXPERIENCE MUSIC PROJECT AND VH1
HEART, Ann and Nancy Wilson’s rock supergroup is a Seattle-based band that stays true to their roots. They filmed and recorded Alive in Seattle, their recently released DVD (Image Entertainment) and Super Audio CD (Epic Legacy) at Seattle’s Paramount Theater, and earlier this summer kicked off their “Alive in America” summer tour at the area’s newly built White River Amphitheater. Now HEART is bringing their mega hits home again as they perform a unique concert, on September 5th from the Sky Church at the Experience Music Project that will be taped for a new VH1 television concert series. Although the EMP performance has just been announced as sold out, the broadcast dates for the VH1 five-part series will air weekly beginning September 16 at 8 pm.
