Actor/Comedian Sid Veda Joins In Celebrity Poker NLHE Tournament To Support “Fallen Heroes USA”

ACTOR/COMEDIAN SID VEDA JOINS IN THE CELEBRITY
POKER NLHE TOURNAMENT TO SUPPORT ‘FALLEN HEROES USA’
IN LOS ANGELES ON FEBRUARY 19

Rising actor/comedian Sid Veda, largely known as MetroPCS’s Tech & Talk co-host “Chad,” will be putting his poker-playing skills to work in support of the Fallen Heroes USA Charity Poker NLHE Tournament at The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, Calif. on Sunday, February 19. Veda will join a host of celebrities including David Arquette, Billy Burke, Shannon Elizabeth, Corey Feldman and others to help raise money for the families of the charity Fallen Heroes USA (www.fallenheroesusa.org).

One of Veda’s latest endeavors is a part in the highly-anticipated “Men in Black III” starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. He also recently starred in the short film “Hold Up” which is slated to hit the film festival circuit this year.

Although widely recognized as “Chad” on the MetroPCS national commercial campaign, Veda also played a similar role on the 2010-2011 NBC sitcom “Outsourced” directed by Ken Kwapis. Among other commercial appearances, Veda’s resume also includes spots for Wendy’s, Target, and a Super Bowl ad for Heineken starring Brad Pitt and directed by Golden Globe winner David Fincher (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “The Social Network”).

As a comic, Veda has opened shows for comedy stars Russell Peters (also of Indian heritage) at the New York Comedy Club in fall 2002 and for Chris Rock at the Hollywood Improv in April 2008.
