a prelude to two performances that evening at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill,

New York, N.Y. – October 9, 2012- This Saturday, October 13, Gray Line New York, New York City’s premier double-decker bus, motorcoach and entertainment company, will be honoring iconic duo Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply as the inaugural inductees for its prestigious Ride of Fame™ campaign as part of its new chapter, “Immortal, It, Imminent,” or “Iii.”  Russell and Hitchcock will be on-hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, where a custom decal displaying their likenesses on the front of the vehicle will be unveiled.  In addition to a signature, open-top red double-decker bus featuring a custom decal on the front, inductees of the new ‘Immortal, It, Imminent’ chapter of the Ride of Fame™ will also be honored with a “permanent seat” on their bus, outfitted with their signature decal.

The presentation will take place at a ribbon cutting ceremony at Pier 78 (455 12^th Avenue at 38^th Street) at 3 p.m., where a custom decal displaying Russell’s and Hitchcock’s likenesses on the front of the vehicle will be unveiled. ,

As part of the event, 10 lucky fans will get VIP access behind the scenes access during the ribbon cutting ceremony, photo opps with Graham and Russell, autographs for your memorabilia and will join the band on its inaugural double-decker bus ride to Times Square. One “Ultimate Fan” will also win a pair of tickets to Air Supply’s 10 p.m. show that night at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in Times Square.

To wrap the special day, Air Supply will perform two highly anticipated shows at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The second performance will feature special guest Justin Sargent, currently starring in “Rock of Ages” on Broadway. Last spring, Sargent also appeared in an industry-only reading of “Lost In Love” – a new period musical with a “Downton Abbey” vibe featuring new and classic Air Supply songs. The book was penned by Melissa Bell.
