This summer, the party’s at Brandon James house! While the emerging L.A. based singer/songwriter is inviting everyone over to hear the unique “West Coast Country” vibe of his new EP Down In The Sand, he’s also cooking up some super tasty and creative culinary delights. All recipes are available (and beautifully illustrated) on his Country Rock Recipes website, countryrockrecipes.com. Chefs and novices alike can add some country flavor to the dinner table by subscribing to receive James’ new recipes right as they are posted.

They’re all there, starting with Honey Garlic Sun Chip Chicken, Korean Sesame Beef & Veggies, Blackberry Summer Dill Salad with Fresh Balsamic Vinaigrette, Baked Tilapia Filet with Kalamata Olive & Basil Relish and Coastal Ceviche.

If grooving to James’ debut single Down In The Sand (With Me)makes you work up a thirst, he’s got the perfect refreshing drinks on the site as well: the hot afternoon or BBQ classic Kentucky Sunrise (featuring an ounce of bourbon) and Killer Homemade Strawberry Lemonade.

James recently teamed with Sassy Cook’n to offer discounts on the site’s stylish kitchen apparel. To receive a 20 percent discount, visit sassycookn.com and use product code “countryrock.”  James’ hobby has its roots in his family’s Toronto-based bakery business that James’ parents started when he was 12.

The emerging singer/songwriter recently earned two LA Music Awards nominations for ‘Country Artist Of The Year’ and ‘Country Album Of The Year’. James will contend for top honors at the 21st Annual Los Angeles Music Awards show November 10, 2011 at the legendary Hollywood hotspot The Avalon.

James collaborated on Down In The Sand with renowned mixer, engineer and recording studio owner Skip Saylor (Dwight Yoakam, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, k.d. lang). The four-track EP was recently featured on AOL Music Listening Party, while the title track made its radio debut on The Ranch (KKUS 104.1, KFRO 1370, KCUL 1410).

In addition to the buzz surrounding the upcoming award show, James has been on the promotional circuit in support of his country debut EP. The singer was recently profiled by Sidebeat Music on ActorsEntertainment.com. On June 25, James will interview with Big Blend Radio.
