This week Christa Borden’s “Empty Bottles” leaps from #11 to #8 on the FMQB AC40 Chart, sharing the Top Ten with some of today’s biggest superstars; Rob Thomas, Train, Lifehouse, Michael Buble, Daughtry and Lady Antebellum as she gears up for the May 4 release of her highly anticipated new album I Rhyme With Orange.
I Rhyme With Orange will be available Tuesday, May 4 on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, and Limewire Store. AOL Music will feature a Listening Party for the album May 3-9 for fans to get a first listen to Christa.
The music video for “Empty Bottles” was recently spotlighted on the hip site Justin TV and featured on AOL Music. Christa also performed the single in the singer/songwriter portion of the Sennheiser Speakeasy Rooftop Party, a major happening at this year’s South By Southwest Conference in Austin.
Earlier this month, Christa gave a special acoustic performance to a packed house at KZAX 93.3 FM’s hosted event at The Windy Mesa in Page, Ariz., where she received several standing ovations during her spectacular set.
Christa is currently rehearsing her live performance set with a full band to embark on a U.S. major city tour in late spring 2010. More details to follow on Christa’s U.S. city tour soon.
