The Emerging Singer/Songwriter Opens For Pop Star Ryan Cabrera
At L.A.’S Key Club Before Making Stops In Vegas And Denver
During His National Tour With Tony Lucca And Ernie Halter
Rising singer/songwriter Trent Hancock, who recently released his soothing solo debut EP Ghostbird, wrapped an incredible week of live performances and media coverage, kicked off with a spotlight on AOL Music’s CD Listening Party on July 26 and was selected as an “Artist to Watch” on iheartradio.com this month.
The multi-talented artist took an off-date from his national tour with renowned acoustic singers Ernie Halter and Tony Lucca to perform in front of pop star Ryan Cabrera’s birthday bash on July 27 at the Key Club on L.A.’s legendary Sunset Strip. “Taking the stage like a young James Dean,” described by Kendra Beltran of the American Chronicle, Trent performed with a five-piece band to a packed house where Mark Salling of the hit show “Glee” and high profile artist Gavin DeGraw were sighted. Hancock—who recently earned endorsements by Gibson Guitars and Sennehieser USA— picked up his tour with Halter and Lucca at House Of Blues in Las Vegas on July 29 where he played an acoustic set including his infectious new single “Falling Faster” from his new Ghostbird EP.
Trent continued his blitz in Denver for a TV appearance on CBS 4’s Morning News (KCNC-TV) on August 1 to promote his show taking place the following night at the Walnut Room. Click here to view his interview with news anchor Michelle Griego.
Other cities on the itinerary include Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta and NYC, where he’s set for a Best Buy Live in-store performance on August 18 at the Chelsea location at 4 p.m.
Currently a resident of Brooklyn, NY after years of living in San Diego, Hancock worked on Ghostbird with producer Mikal Blue–who helmed Colbie Caillait’s double platinum debut Coco, plus recordings for Five For Fighting and OneRepublic–to create the six-track project. Blue’s partner Andrew Williams is also a producer on the EP.
