GRAND OPENING AT THE RIVIERA HOTEL
& CASINO AT HIS NEW HOMEBASE, LAS VEGAS

Austin Powers, aka Greg London—star of the critically-acclaimed production “Greg London’s ICONS – Entertaining The World One Impression At  A Time” now running at The Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Wednesday – Sunday at 7 p.m.—hit the red carpet for the Queen Victoria Pub Grand Opening party on June 28, also at The Riviera. London posed for pictures and engaged in interviews during the event where he was accompanied by one of his eye-catching ‘ICONS’ dancers, Tarrah Williams-Leon.

London re-appeared later that evening as one of the 50-plus ICONS in his repertoire, Austin Powers, to introduce the celebrity rock band The British Invasion consisting of the legendary Les Warner of The Cult on drums, Saun Koos of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on bass, Duncan Faure of The Bay City Rollers on vocals/guitar/keyboards, and Mike Bowman on guitar.

London jokes, “Being from London myself originally, it was so nice of The Riviera to build an authentic English pub in keeping with the theme. Now everyone knows where to find me – and my ‘mojo’ of course- before and after every ICONS performance. As Austin Powers would say, ‘The Riviera is swingin’ baby, yeah!’”

The unforgettable ICON-studded show–which opened for previews on June 17- continues to generate buzz among the city’s most influential media, earning multiple inclusions in Mike Weatherford’s entertainment column in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a story on Robin Leach’s VegasDeluxe, mentions in the Las Vegas Weekly and Las Vegas Sun, plus a ‘Tweet’ by popular gossip columnist Norm Clarke.

London was also honored on opening night with a packed house and surprise guest appearance by master celebrity impersonator Rich Little (who brought along Vegas legend Steve Rossi of the famous Allen & Rossi comedy duo.
