Kerry and Joanna Beasley welcome new baby Rovun Ray.

MORE EXCITING NEWS FOR JOANNA BEASLEY TO SHOUT FROM THE ‘ROOFTOPS’ – THE INDIE POP/ROCKER AND HER HUSBAND KERRY WELCOME THEIR FIRST BABY

After a Short Break with Baby Beasley, the Songstress Jumps Back  In Performance Mode at the Oasis Grace Conference in Granger, Indiana September 24-26

Indie singer/songwriter Joanna Beasley must have been anticipating the big event when she named her latest full-length album Loud Love: she and her husband Kerry are proud parents for the first time.

The Beasleys welcomed Rovun Ray Beasley into the world August 18. His size is also worth shouting from the “Rooftops,” the title of the multi-talented performer’s new pop/rock single and video. Rovun started life at 22 ¾ inches long and nine pounds, 10 ounces.

Earlier this summer, Beasley signed an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock Girl Guitars – whose extensive lines of colorful, high quality instruments, designed by veteran musician and company founder Tish Ciravolo, are played by thousands of female (and some male) musicians all over the world.

Beasley joins an elite group of pop and rock greats who have been Daisy Rock endorsees. These include: Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, Norah Jones, Hillary Duff, The Bangles, Wanda Jackson, Joan Osborne, Lisa Loeb and former contestants on NBC’s “The Voice,” Lex Land and Juliet Simms.

Joining Beasley among the newest Daisy Rockers are Sol, Etsegenet, Ashley Taylor, Aly Ashford, Sharon Starr, Cait Brennan, Summer Landis, Emily Haber, Moana Avvenenti, Brandi Rose, Marcela Campos and Melissa Otero.

Beasley, who will be releasing her first Christmas album November 28, recently opened for the band Sidewalk Prophets at Bluegate in Shipshewana, Indiana August 30 and will perform at the Oasis Grace Conference in Granger, Indiana September 24-26.

Originally recorded by the band Jesus Culture, Beasley’s version of “Rooftops” — the second single from her latest full length album Loud Love, after “This Same Love,” featuring singer/songwriter Chris McClarney – is receiving airplay throughout the U.S.

Among her more high profile appearances, Beasley has performed at “Celebrate Freedom,” the largest Christian music festival in the world, and has shared the stage with Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Natalie Grant, Michael W. Smith and countless others. She has also participated in many events sponsored by secular rock stations and charity groups including a recent “Roofsit” for child abuse awareness and Relay For Life, a breast cancer charity.
