SANDY HACKETT’S RAT PACK LAS VEGAS’ MAYOR OSCAR B. GOODMAN The Mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar B. Goodman, officially declared Wednesday, May 26 as “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Day” in a proclamation ceremony at his office inside City Hall where he presented cast members Sandy Hackett (Joey Bishop), Lisa Dawn Miller (Frank’s ‘One Love’), David DeCosta (Frank Sinatra) and Tony Basile (Dean Martin) the official document. In true Rat Pack style, the gang presented Mayor Goodman with a special ‘Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack’ fedora and martini glasses, raising a toast to him as the title of Honorary Rat Pack Member. Click here for a behind-the-scenes look at the presentation. “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” is produced by Sandy Hackett, a powerhouse veteran writer/producer/actor and son of legendary comedian Buddy Hackett, along with his wife, producer/singer/songwriter Lisa Dawn Miller, daughter of legendary songwriter, Ron Miller. The only of its kind on the Vegas Strip, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show debuted in November 2009 and runs 5 p.m. performances Tuesday – Saturday at The Sahara Hotel & Casino’s Main Showroom. Sandy’s history at the Sahara extends back to the age of 15, when he was a cook’s helper and his dad headlined the showroom. For 12 years, he produced and hosted Sandy Hackett’s Talent Showcase in the hotel’s Casbar Lounge, which helped shine a spotlight on numerous rising stars over the years, including Howie Mandel, Andrew Dice Clay, Jenny Jones, Tony D’Andrea, The Unknown Comic, and Gary Mule Deer.
