The Music City based artist is currently on a national radio tour promoting the upcoming album, set for release on October 26. Barry Fox, Program Director of 101.5 WRAL-FM in Raleigh, NC praised Iman after his visit to the station on October 20 and said, “In all my years in broadcasting I have never met a more focused, personable and dedicated artist.”

Iman (pronounced ee-mon) has also recently picked up a Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) nomination for Best Adult Contemporary/AAA Song for the uplifting title track from his debut album Shine.  In its third year, the HMMAs will be held at Hollywood’s world-famous Hollywood and Highland Kodak Theater Complex and recognizes excellence in film, television and other visual mediums as well as mainstream and independent artists.

Coinciding with the official album release, Shine will be featured on AOL Music’s CD Listening Party from October 25 – November 1, allowing new audiences to experience Iman’s eclectic blend of modern rock and soul by previewing the entire album and song lyrics throughout the week.
