The ‘Chocolate Soul Child’ Gets Into The Holiday Spirit
With Performances At Hard Rock Café On
December 2 And A Charity Event On
December 9 In Nashville

Emerging soul-rocker Sharif Iman continues to enjoy music chart success with his pop/rock single “Shine.” The inspirational title track broke the top ten on the FMQB Adult Contemporary Charts, resting at #9 (with a bullet) this week.

Shine’s immense success has placed Iman (pronounced ee-mon) in the company of other notable acts such as Bruno Mars, John Mayer, Maroon 5 and Daughtry. The music video for the single can be viewed on YouTube.

To celebrate the holidays, the Nashville singer will rock his hometown on December 2 with a performance at the Hard Rock Café at 6 p.m. as a part of the Nashville Soul Show, sponsored by music industry organization NARAS. The free show is hosted by two-time Grammy Award Winner Shannon Sanders.

Iman will also offer his musical talents for a good cause with an acoustic performance at the Urban Sun Tan Spa on December 9 in Nashville in support of the salon’s “Rise and Shine with Urban Sun” program which spotlights a different Nashville nonprofit each month in partnership with Bongo Java Roasting Company. The free event kicks off at 5 p.m. and will feature a toy drive and will benefit the 18^th Avenue Family Enrichment Center.
