The confessional singer-songwriter, Christa Borden, keeps climbing FMQB’s Adult Contemporary chart with her current single “Empty Bottles,” which came in at # 13 with a bullet this week. Christa is in stellar company on the chart with major artists such as Lifehouse, Rob Thomas, John Mayer and Miley Cyrus rounding out the top 25. Earlier this month the music video for “Empty Bottles” was spotlighted on the hip site Justin TV and featured on AOL Music.
All the noise on the single leads up to the release of her highly anticipate album I Rhyme With Orange on May 4 and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, and Limewire Store. AOL Music Listening Party will also be featuring the album later this month for fans to get a first listen to Christa.
On Friday, April 2 Christa gave a special acoustic performance to a packed house at KZAX 93.3FM’s hosted event at The Windy Mesa in Page, AZ, where she received a standing ovation during spectacular set. Christa is currently rehearsing her live performance set with a full band to embark on a U.S. major city tour in late spring 2010. More details to follow on Christa’s U.S. city tour soon.
