New Material From Their Upcoming
Album During The Performance
Plus, Give Away Concert Tickets
To The First 500 Military Soldiers

Anchorage’s high-energy alternative rockers Static Cycle will headline Alaska State Fair on August 30 at 7 p.m. at The Borealis Theatre. The Audio and KZND FM’s “Artist of the Month,” Stadium with Dave Velasquez will join the band for a night of cutting-edge performances.

The Alaska State Fair is an 12-day festival packed with performances by major artists Hinder, Collective Soul, Shinedown, Kenny Rogers, LoneStar, Boyz II Men and many more.

Static Cycle will perform at the state fair in support of their highly anticipated sophomore album slated for fall 2010. The new album, according to the band’s lead singer-Jared Navarre-combines a multitude of music genres, including rock, hip-hop, R&B, pop and world.

The band is giving away the first 500 military concert tickets for free, while general admission tickets are $20. The free military tickets are available only at the Elmendorf Air Force Base. Soldiers can inquire at the travel office (ITT), building number 9497 20th Street in Anchorage, Alaska.
