RAT PACK DEBUTS NEW DOCUMENTARY AS
PRODUCERS OF THE HIT ‘SANDY HACKETT’S RAT PACK SHOW’
RELEASE AN INTIMATE BEHIND-THE-SCENES FILM SHORT ABOUT THE MAKING AND ORIGINS OF ONE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL SHOWS OF ITS KIND

Producers Lisa Dawn Miller and Sandy Hackett of the critically-acclaimed “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” are taking fans and talent buyers behind-the-scenes to reveal the making and origins of their hit production about the iconic ‘Kings of Cool’ in their new short film documentary now available on YouTube. The intimate and entertaining film features cast and crew interviews, personal family photos and selected performance highlights from the live theatrical production offering insight on how the real life “Smash” team puts it all together.

“I think the film is a testament to the passion of our team and why we, like the real Rat Pack, love and respect one another. There isn’t anyone or any show out there that can tell this story like we can. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Joey Bishop were all close Hackett family friends and each of them recorded songs written by my father, Ron Miller” said Lisa Dawn Miller. “I think in seeing this film, you get a sense of the strong artistic integrity and the close, synergistic relationships of our team, which is why this show works so well onstage, on film and behind-the-scenes,” says Miller.

“Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” resumes their U.S. national tour January 29 at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming and has a packed schedule throughout the late winter and spring—including stops in Bozeman and Great Falls, Mont. (January 30-31), Santa Rosa, Calif. (February 2), Waterbury, Conn. (February 8), Worchester (February 9) and Springfield, Mass. (February 16), Sarasota (February 22), Clearwater (February 24), The Villages (February 25), West Palm Beach (February 27) and Ft. Myers, Fla. (March 1), Atlanta (March 14-17) and Joliet (April 5) and Skokie, Ill. (April 6). Its final date for the theatre season tour is at the Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y. on May 12.

The production will also be featured on the Travel Channel’s Movie Set Getaways in spring 2013.

The producers, Hackett and Lisa Dawn Miller—nominated as Best Featured Actress in a Musical in Broadway World’s People’s Choice Awards for her portrayal in the show as “Frank’s One Love”—also recently debuted a compelling promotional film for the holiday version of the show that includes performance clips and exclusive behind the scenes footage. Miller is also set to release her new CD, entitled “Wasn’t I a Good Time” this spring and is currently producing and directing a film about her father, legendary songwriter, Ron Miller. Hackett also honors his father, legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett in his touching, funny and highly entertaining new show, “My Buddy.”

In addition to enjoying successful tours in recent years, the hit production has been a mainstay in its original home of Las Vegas, continuing its successful run in the Shimmer Cabaret at the LVH – The Las Vegas Hotel and Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton) every Tuesday night.
