Shane Wyatt Continues With High Energy Performances Thru December 2010

SHANE WYATT CONTINUES WITH HIGH ENERGY
PERFORMANCES THRU THE END OF 2010

The Singer-Songwriter Is Splitting His Time Between
Songwriting In Nashville For His Next Album And
Performing Around The Midwest

Emerging country singer and songwriter Shane Wyatt has been busy making a splash on the country scene since the release of his 2008 critically-acclaimed independent debut album The Last Cowboy, receiving praise from music critics across the country.

Famed Nashville historian Robert K. Oermann said Wyatt’s “The Big Bad Dog” “marks him as the most commercial and creative songwriter of the bunch.”

Minneapolis Star Tribune Music Critic Chris Riemenschneider said, “His polished but brawny brand of country fits in among currently hot Music Row studs such as Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw.”

Maverick Country Magazine called The Last Cowboy, “Good debut album from a fine singer/songwriter.”

The British Country Music Association proclaimed, “…the songs, all self-penned, are a fresh-sounding mixture of the brash and the sentimental, each one different from the other.”  They added, “Shane Wyatt is certainly one of the names to look out for in the future.”

But that’s just the beginning. Wyatt has shared the stage with some of country music’s biggest superstars and his music heroes, including Randy Travis, The Bellamy Brothers, Joe Nichols, Eric Church, Phil Vassar, Kellie Pickler and Montgomery Gentry, and has performed at some of the biggest country music festivals in the Midwest including Country Fest in Cadott, Wisc., and WeFest in Detroit Lakes, Minn.

While known for wowing the crowd at the big shows, Wyatt is equally known for his high energy, extended sets (going well over three hours) with his full band around the Midwest and has become a favorite at venues including the new Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Minneapolis, the Dakota Magic Casino and the Eagles Club in North Dakota, and the Ho-Chunk Casino in Wisconsin.

Wyatt is currently splitting his time between Nashville songwriting for his greatly anticipated next album and the Midwest, where he will be performing shows on weekends thru December, including a return appearance at the Special Olympics Truck Convoy at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn., on October 2, helping raise money for Special Olympics Minnesota.
