Country music fans in Minnesota recently hopped onboard the “Shane Train” to Clear Lake, IA to join hometown favorite and rising country star Shane Wyatt (www.shanewyatt.com) as he opened for the legendary Randy Travis at the famous Surf Ballroom on July 18.

Wyatt says, “Randy has been a huge influence on me as a singer and an artist; getting to spend some time with him and his band was a great thrill for me.  Having the show be here at such a historic venue made the night even better!”

Leading up to the big day, Wyatt was asked to open for Carrrolwood Records’ new country group Left and Theft at well-known Minneapolis venue The Cabooze on July 10.

“This band is definitely one of the new bands to watch this year. Stephen, Brian and Eric are great guys and they put on a great show tonight for Minneapolis,” comments Wyatt.

Wyatt is heading out on the road in support of “She Could Do Better”, the third single from his critically-acclaimed, independent debut The Last Cowboy.
