SHANE WYATT TO PERFORM AT COUNTRY FEST

The Rising Country Singer Will Keep Country Fans Rockin’
At Country Fest In Cadott, WI, June 24th-26th

When one of the country’s largest country music festivals calls inviting you to perform on the big stage, you know you’ve made an impression on the music scene. Minneapolis-based country singer Shane Wyatt (www.shanewyatt.com) has answered the call and will perform at Country Fest (www.countryfest.com) in Cadott, Wisc., June 24th-26th.

Wyatt and his band will kick-off the line-up on Friday, June 26th, at 11 a.m. to get the crowd going for a full day of music from some of country music’s brightest stars, including Trailer Choir, Chuck Wicks, Joe Nichols, Kellie Pickler and Montgomery Gentry.

But that’s not all.  Wyatt and his band will kick off the event with a pre-festival party on Wednesday, June 24th at 8:00 p.m. and will keep festival goers entertained in between main stage acts at the Hilltop Hideaway side stage on Thursday and Friday.

“I am really excited about this event! Country Fest has such a great reputation for its high energy shows and fun atmosphere.  It’s just a huge honor to be involved in a festival that includes Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, George Strait and so many other artists that I respect so much,” says Wyatt.

Wyatt’s career has been in over-drive since releasing his debut album The Last CowboyMusic Connection magazine named Wyatt one of the Hot 100 Unsigned Bands & Artists of last year (December 2008 issue).

Critics across the country have praised Wyatt and his music, including famed Nashville historian Robert K. Oermann who said Wyatt’s debut single “The Big Bad Dog” “marks him as the most commercial and creative songwriter of the bunch.”

Minneapolis Star Tribune Music Critic Chris Riemenschneider said, “His polished but brawny brand of country fits in among currently hot Music Row studs such as Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw.”

Wyatt’s new single “Whole Lotta Love” is gaining early airplay on over 100 country radio stations across the country from California to New York, including his home state Oklahoma and Minnesota, his adopted home state.
