Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of its founding, the Canadian Cancer Society is a national community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Spriggs brings a whirlwind of momentum into her new project. She ended an explosive 2012 with a unique and impressive coup: she’s the only Canadian artist to be included on Music Connection Magazine‘s highly coveted Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands list for 2012.

The acclaimed songstress also earned her third and fourth Hollywood Music in Media (HMMA) nominations for her latest pop/rock single “Your One and Only” (in the Best Adult Contemporary/AAA category) and “Lola La Lo” (Best Pop Song).

Released in late 2011, her single “Your One and Only” broke into the Top 20 on theU.S. FMQB Adult Contemporary chart last year reaching #13. In 2010, Spriggs received nods for Best Pop Song (“I Wanna Love You”) and Best Adult Contemporary/AAA Song (“Nobody But You), which peaked at #11 on the U.S. FMQB Adult Contemporary.

The singer was spotlighted in last fall’s issue of Healthwise Ottawa, in an article where she discusses balancing her demanding life as a business consultant and a singer.

“I Wanna Love You” received prominent mention in Peter Simpson’s The Big Beat List: 10 Local Songs From 2010, which was published in the Ottawa Citizen. “Nobody But You” also placed in the Top 100 on FMQB’s AC 2010 Year End Chart, just ahead of superstars Uncle Kracker/Kid Rock, Michael Buble and Miley Cyrus.
